Recently,a seminar on the initiation and implementation of Typhoon Tracking and Detecting Instrument,a major national scientific research instrument development project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China,was held at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

 

　　項目承擔(dān)單位北京航空航天大學(xué)以及合作單位北京理工大學(xué)、北京天恒長鷹科技股份有限公司、中國氣象科學(xué)研究院、南京大學(xué)的項目組成員和相關(guān)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)參加了本次會議。

 

　　The project undertakers,Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics,Beijing Polytechnic University,Beijing Tianheng Changying Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.,China Meteorological Science Research Institute,Nanjing University and other project team members and relevant leaders participated in the meeting.

 

　　“臺風(fēng)追蹤探測儀器”項目將在臺風(fēng)上空的臨近空間(20km)布設(shè)探測平臺,突破已有臺風(fēng)探測儀器的局限，首次實現(xiàn)對臺風(fēng)進行多要素、長過程、精細化直接觀測的能力，建立一套具有自主知識產(chǎn)權(quán)且世界領(lǐng)先的儀器系統(tǒng)。

 

　　The Typhoon Tracking and Detecting Instrument project will set up a detection platform in the adjacent space(20km)above the typhoon,break through the limitations of existing typhoon detection instruments,realize the ability of direct observation of typhoon with multi-elements,long process and fine,and establish a set of instrument system with independent intellectual property rights and leading in the world for the first time.

 

　　本項目儀器的研制成功將為揭示臺風(fēng)生成、演化以及強度畸變等未解之謎提供全面、精準(zhǔn)的觀測數(shù)據(jù)，構(gòu)建出世界上最高分辨率的精細數(shù)字臺風(fēng)系統(tǒng)，使我國臺風(fēng)精準(zhǔn)探測、科學(xué)認知與精確預(yù)報進入世界領(lǐng)先行列，提升我國抵御自然災(zāi)害的綜合防范能力，也將在海洋運輸、航空安全、國家安全等中發(fā)揮重要作用。

 

　　The successful development of this project instrument will provide comprehensive and accurate observation data to reveal the mystery of typhoon generation,evolution and intensity distortion,and construct the world's highest resolution fine digital typhoon system,so that China's typhoon precision detection,scientific recognition and accurate prediction will enter the world's leading ranks,and enhance China's comprehensive prevention ability against natural disasters will also be at sea.Ocean transportation,aviation safety and national security play an important role.
